My dude, look at anything Schumer, Booker, Pelosi and Jeffries say these days and you will have your answer.

You think that all of the centrist, enriched, establishment politicians that very much exist in the Democratic party are "taking orders" from their donors? Or are their incentives more complex than that, but it's easier to assert that it's very simple?
Shit, look at Gavin Newsome doing podcasts with fucking Charlie Kirk and Steve Bannon and agreeing with them!
Is this donor and dark money driven, or is this driven by a combination of focus groups and ambition, with Gavin very much driving?
From a Politico article linked to by the OP article about the group in question:
So your roundabout assertion is that Gavin Newsome had right wing people on his podcast because he was ordered to by this group, and absent this group, his incentives to do so would not exist?
You're clearly not arguing in good faith and deliberately ignoring the overall trend in the Democratic party to appease the right by, say, throwing trans people under the bus (among other things), so we're done here.
I'm operating in completely good faith, I'm asking very specific questions that outline that you have no answers for the larger questions as to why centrists exist and want to boil it down to something simple and easily digestible that fits your predetermined feelings.
Which would be fine in its way (I think private political donations should be abolished in my perfect world) if you weren't advocating for unilateral disarmament against fascism.
Like, I literally didn't ignore the trend you're referencing that I already explicitly said exists. But I'm the one not arguing in good faith? Ehhh, lol
Ok, so what do you think is causing that trend? Could it be politicians beholden to large corporate donors? 🤔🤔
I think it's politicians beholden to focus group brain and consultant brain in service of their own ambition which can be PARTIALLY ATTRIBUTED to where the money is at fundraising time. But the incentives are much more widely distributed and complex than just donations.
Getting big money out of politics is literally the solution to fascism, guy.
How are you getting big money out of politics in time to defeat fascism? I'll listen.
"Ok smart guy, you've identified the problem, now how are you actually gonna DO that?" By fucking doing it, by passing laws and holding people accountable, as a society? Jesus Christ, man. Listen to yourself.
And that's why you're focusing only on Newsome and none of the other four party leaders mentioned, right?
Did I bring up Gavin, or did you, as an object of focus? "Good faith, what is it?"
I'm sorry you're incapable of keeping more than one skeet in your head.
