This game drove me mad. I was only 8-12? Ish when I was playing it. Pissed my dad off real bad when I solved a few of the puzzles he couldn't. Never finished it.

It was the journey….and the reverb on the sound efx. Top tier confusion and thinkery ;)

Discovered it through Realmyst: Masterpiece Edition. The real-time 3D probably helped a lot, because the puzzles didn’t seem too hard there.

Hated, hated, hated, hated, hated this fucking game. Hated it. Hated its lack of context, instructions, hints, and its general aura of pixelated smugness. Fuck this game into the ground.

Fascinating… the very reasons why it was in fact the best ever game for me. Well at least in the early 90’s. After that I was d’riven to play its sequel. More orgasmic content to unravel. 🤩

I think we all agree it was a bipolar-inducing beast from Brøderbund! 🤣 I picked up a passion for all things puzzling and cryptic from my mum so it was a fait accompli when it hit the shelves at the computer store I worked at. 🤷‍♂️
