Republicans just sold out the American people to help their billionaire donors stuff their pockets. Their disastrous agenda will devastate working people. Donald Trump and the Republican majorities in Congress must bear the consequences of their actions.
But I refuse to spend the next two years campaigning solely on the harm they have caused. We knew what they would do.
Anyone who claims to want to win the trust of the American people, must immediately and unapologetically champion a bold and transformative progressive agenda that centers the needs of working families. That is the path to take back our democracy from the oligarchs.
