this is because I told her there should be a labeler that tells you if an account is physically active, so you can judge whether to continue arguing

"Grass toucher"
Actually I'm gonna need labels for each lift PR and current working set ranges.
If we're getting this can we also have an FFMI label?
lifting labeler would go crazy but since labels can't carry data it would be hard to pull off
you could just hardcode a bunch of ranges, normalized to bodyweight %
get frazee on the phone we have a sev 1
a labeler that connects to a step tracking app and updates your label daily to share how many steps you took - within values of 1000
Absolutely need an ATProto Strava
Reminds me of the data leak back in the day where Fitbit used to broadcast when you got laid.
back before Google bought them, my grad advisor and I followed each other on fitbit for purposes of doing weekly step challenges. One day he said "I accidentally clicked on your fitbit profile...."
Pff, that could never happen to me
paging @baileytownsend.dev
@baileytownsend.dev damn we really gotta explore that app concept cause i want stuff like this
So you're saying that we should 🥁..... step up and do this? pdsls.dev/at://did:plc...
or take the next step in planning. (okay I think that's the last one)
Really though….. it’s an iOS only solution but it’s not too bad to get your steps from your phone to your PDS as a record via shortcuts, then have a labeler that checks for accounts with that record and add it…. Oh no… it’s happening.
DM'd you on discord, but yeah the automatic side of things can be a bit tricky, but i feel like theres the other angle of manual goal tracking or habit tracking as well for other random things — iOS is easy though for the automation side
>iOS only >solution
I hate to say it, but Apple has really monopolized health data and export in an easy/secureish way with Shortcuts 🫣 During my short stint in the Android world, I didn't really find a solution besides standing up a whole app. Then, it's which health apis to call for it, or use a fitbit for steps
i mean shortcuts aren't a real solution anyway because ambient data gathering can't have an active step
alright you got me. A RP2040 or RP2350 custom step counter and a companion app. Throw in mini games like it's a tamagotchi and can use steps as a currency in the games and writes to your repo
whole app should be easy tbh. just connect to the api that gives you steps data and post it after each day
Blueskémon Go
Given the demographics of this site, there’s an egg joke here just waiting to be made
babe you know how i get about exercise
possibly related: screen time / site activity labeler “this posted has not logged off for X days, you should probably just say ‘touch grass’ and move on”
Atproto function that links to your phone’s step tracker seems like a great bit
Honestly a labeler for each one of these factors tbh
something something proof of work
so many times a depressed account will come into the replies and if you check the profile it's clear sedentary lifestyle
How do you check that from the profile? 🤔
from:account and then a few keywords if you're really searching but usually you can just scroll a few posts and they'll mention it
What's my estimated activity level? 🙃
pretty good, you are clearly outside regularly and also ride your bike if i'm not mistaken
Yeah, not really 😅 I do run or bike sometimes, but it's very irregularly, I can do days without going outside at all ;)
i love this tho like "this mfer wont even go for a walk; fuck their reply"
ratio
my watch tracked at least 27 minutes of exercise every day last week and I feel pretty sane.
that's a decent amount, you should!
Wow, ableist AF. You think it might have something to do with the incredibly poor care and lifestyle accommodations that people with chronic health conditions that prohibit physical activity experience? I used to be a competitive fencer. Now i can barely walk. But sure, blame my lifestyle.
