It was unbelievable. The 70s were good, but the 80's. Music , live most nights. Cost nothing to see them.

Well, I tuned out and dropped out in the Eighties. Didn’t like Disco at all. I never bought a record again until Soundgarden and Nirvana came along. I was very disillusioned that the tombstone of Punk was “Owner of a Lonely Heart!” Yes! No!

No! I hated that song. I bought the Doors first, then Santana, Abraxis. Nirvana, yes.

Oh, you mean “Owner of a Lonely Heart.” Yes, it was terrible. I went to their shows when I was a teenager. Even then, I began to suspect that they were just a little pretentious.

Wait! Surely you don’t mean “Black Hole Sun!” You didn’t like the melting Doll faces and the bugs! The Sixties were my real time, The Renaissance. Beatles, Stones, Who, Hendrix, Doors, Zappa, Jefferson Airplane,Thirteenth Floor Elevators, Country Joe, etc. These were the noblest records of them all.
