#bbclaurak The Govt cannot turn around 14 years of Tory wreckage in 1 year!! U turns aren't bad if it means listening + changing something for the better. The media +newspapers have obviously wanted this Govt to fail and have ONLY talked about the things that haven't gone well. Lots has gone well!

They have failed by their own hand. By their lies. By their policies. By their support of genocide. They are quintessentially international establishment stooges. Slave traders that chucked human beings over the sides of ships and into the ocean apparently deserved statues for their good deeds too.

They can't turn it around in 1400 years if they insist on following the debunked neoclassical economics of every government since 1979. The only solution allowed by this failed model is cuts.

This government has failed on its inhumanity and corruption: at home and in Gaza.

Especially the arming, giving diplomatic cover and spyplane flights for Israel. Ignoring international law has also been a success.

The government is participating in a genocide. The government isn't attempting to turn around the Tory wreckage out is continuing with it it.

That could well be true. Tell me some good things they've done then. I'll wait.

They're certainly very committed to supporting Israel's genocide!

Starmer has removed trans healthcare for young people. An evil man. The Tories started it but he is worse.

I can't argue with that, Sue. Labour's next task on their to do list is Leveson 2.

It was one of the pledges Starmer made to his media chums very early on. No leveson 2.

Tell that to the most vulnerable people on disability benefits and those who receive PIP. It did a U-turn on non doms though, says it all.

They didn't have to start by attaching the vulnerable though did they. What sort of change is that after 14 years of Tory austerity? I will never support austerity no matter which side does it.

Things that have gone well: Mending relationship with EU + re-establishing Britain on world stage and working together with EU to stop world war 3! Starting to rebuild NHS (strikes sorted, new staff employed etc); energy policy; free breakfast for children; House building restarted + many more!

In general I agree that u-turns aren’t always bad. However, in government they are a sign of going off half cocked in the first place. More thought, more investigation, fewer u-turns.

I'm sorry but no one has forced starmers red Tories to support an actual genocide , they're not forced to attack the extremely marginalised and vulnerable transgender section of our society, they're not forced to be authoritarian and arrest peaceful protesters

The genocide in Palestine is supported by #LabourFriendsOfGenocide, and now there is the prospect of war with Iran after "evidence" of a WMD programme. I feel like we've been here before, remember Colin Powell's "semen sample" speech to the UN?
