1/2 I think unfortunately the relentless migrant bashing by the likes of the Daily Mail, Express and Telegraph in particular have swayed public opinion against migrants. That doesn't mean it is right but it is a reality that the majority of people in this country see migration
as a reason for their woes. Labour can't ignore this because it is now entrenched in a lot of peoples' views. It might not be our view but it is a view that has been pushed so heavily it has taken hold. So Labour have to deal with the perceived issue. Otherwise Reform will get into power in 2029.
