My brother is mad at me that I'm against recliners cos I'm a design snob, but I'd make an exception for a H.O.L.E.S. room.

I only call it that on here 😂. In real life I just say "out back" or "the office." Sometimes "the cave." I am a utilitarian. I want comfort for reading, music absorption, TV, and drinking. It's my Fortress of Solitude. (Oooo, another name!) Maybe if you're not a mean girl, I'll post a pic. 😂

I have no one to impress but myself! I am color-coordinated though. My old recliner was dark blue, matching the primary rug color. The new one is dark gray, matching my desk chair and the rug for my guitars and amp. Only one box arrived today, the other one is due tomorrow. Assembly required.

Color coordination is a must. Sounds like you've got it covered. Joel gets mad that I've got one hard-as-a-rock designer sofa and no recliner.
