Yeah nah … the failure in education comes first and then MAGAtism finds willing if ignorant adherents. Blame can be equally apportioned to both parties cos although a peanut farmer realised the need for a national education programme - it hasn’t been delivered.
The greater any gap between rich & poor or educated vs ignorant - the easier it is for the authoritarians to cleave in to ‘us and them’ groups and to then weaponise fear or anger in the pursuit of power by any means. Education can prevent this which is why Dump wants to destroy the federal dept😡.
It's why republicans have been destroying it slowly for decades. They've been preparing for this since before Reagan.
