Despite living in the UK I have close connections with the US and listen to your podcast on a daily basis. As usual another interesting episode but what appears blindingly obvious to me and others here in the UK is the need for the Dems to coalesce around a single leader and to agree to do that now.
The tactics of Newsom could be replicated across the country with someone like AOC doing similar on the east coast. There need to be experts in defence, foreign relations, etc in place that can rebut the falsehoods continually spouted by the Trump government. A shadow government is what's needed.
