That doesn’t sound very cost effective. I think you are trying to convince yourself Brexit has been a success. Are you really claiming that immigration is now static and not increasing? What about the many asylum seekers?

Ryanair’s return flight from Poland was about £20 thanks to EU subsidies, the East Europeans were literally paid to come, while local UK tradespeople were forced to lower their wages and/or go out of business. I’m claiming immigration has been out of control since the 90s & Blair.
So they were paying for accommodation, food and bills through the week and then had enough money to get to the airport, pay for airport parking and all of the other costs Ryanair always adds to their ‘cheap flights’? I don’t believe many were doing that.
They shared bedrooms, worked all hours, bought their provisions from lorry drivers, drank cheap vodka. In the 90s I know of a whole family of truckers, sleeping in their cabs, worked here 6 years and went home and bought farmhouses. Great workers but spoiled opportunity to local kids.
I agree that the lowering of wages was bad, but businesses are still doing that but paying even less to the increasing number of illegal immigrants. I don’t see any improvements in the country at all since Brexit.
We agree there. But the EU is the root of mass immigration - remember Germany inviting 1 million? Germany looks like Turkey in its cities now - France resembles Mogadishu and UK is like Pakistani/Indiap. The craving for cheap labour has altered Europe.
