Picked my next read: ‘The Rebel of Seventh Avenue’ by Highlands based writer Annabelle Marx. I loved her debut ‘The Herbalists Secret’ so much and I’m looking forward to this new one.

It’s based in 1910 when a young Edinburgh seamstress steals some silk and runs off to New York. She meets a young Black architect and together they face prejudice and other challenges. Will they succeed? Who knows. I’ll need to read to find out #Books #ScottishFiction
