Today’s excursion was a walk to Loch Glass and the Pink House near Evanton in the Scottish Highlands. This was one of the finest Caledonian Pine forests I’ve seen though rhododendron was encroaching after looking like it had been cut back. #Walking

The ‘Pink House’ by Loch Glass on the Wyvis estate in the Highlands. This is quite a grand pink building with a turret but it has never been lived in and is slowly decaying. There’s not a lot of history on this but it was meant to have been constructed without planning consent and was therefore left unfinished. Inside is just a shell.
