In end of the hall there was a guy on a small stage that asked where people were from, etc. Then he introduced us to “Spark” which was a star mascot looking thing. Spark was supposed to represent possiblties and togetherness and..singing? She sang the whole time after being introduced. (4/9)

After that we continued down an other hall while following spark with videos playing on the wall regarding American innovation, and how we can’t do this without each other, etc (also people eating for some reason lol). They even played a clip of Ohtani to please Japanese audience members. (5/9)
The last room simulated inside of a rocket ship, countdown and song climax. Have to admit the production with what they were going for as on point. As an American knowing how things are now, it’s gave me very mixed feelings. Like they hijacked this idea, from the former administration. (6/9)
More than likely did hijack it, these things take time to go from concept to completion, usually a year or more.
Yeah. That’s what I was thinking. They just pasted over what was made already.
Once outside, we was a performance by… ”DJ knockers” out of Miami. I ordered an overpriced hamburger and watched some his set as I waited. It was fine I guess. The burger is actually decent and that’s where I ended my journey of the U.S. pavilion. (7/9)
As an American it’s interesting how they seem to view themselves and present themselves. The cookie cutter American dream-ish thing was surreal to watch and whole production would have made more sense if it wasn’t from this administration. Instead I left confused at the togetherness theme. (8/9)
