Lost my mom to PD in 2021. Three years after her diagnosis, she had aphasia but at least she understood what was said in Spanish and English. The Lewy-Body dementia with motor function loss made her last years tough but I took care of her.

My dad has Lewy-Body dementia. I was glad to read recently “There is no genetic test to determine if an individual will develop DLB|2|[24] and, according to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, genetic testing is not routinely recommended because there are only rare instances of hereditary DLB.”
