cOMmuNiSM! 😉 of the best kind..
This is great! It's the kind of thing Mamdani wants to do in NYC.
Fabulous!
And we didn’t ‘end up’ with food deserts. They were engineered, by corporate greed/interests. Just more evidence that an exponential increase in corporate tax is long overdue. Glad to see some cities are taking care of their people.
The Krogers in my part of town. Which has become gentrified is making us show our receipts on the way out. I hadn't thought of it but I could refuse to show it. What can they do? Take back my groceries?
Food Deserts are also caused by overwhelming shoplifting. Research the Rite Aid built in Tacoma's "Hilltop" years ago. Shoplifting was so bad, the company walked away from the land, newly built store and lost less money than they would have lost if they'd stayed open.
Blaming shoplifting for food deserts is like blaming a few leaks for a sinking ship that was never properly built. The real problem is the flawed design, decades of neglect, not a few holes.
I tend to be dubious about claims from shops that they closed because of shoplifting. It's an easy excuse that shifts blame to the usual convenient scapegoats. "It was shoplifting! Totally not mismanagement!"
Don't celebrate too quickly. I helped build the grocer that was to combat our food desert and they have the highest prices
There are definitely reasons for that...
If the one in Georgia has financing from the city. They have a lot more power with overpricing.
Ain't no good of its priced to high to buy
But but but that’s communism /s
😂😂😂
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I love this so much!
I’d love to see that happen here in Seattle’s downtown area. They’re building a hell of a lot of condos but not any grocery 🏬
Government stores This will go well… Until it doesn’t
Seems to have gone pretty well for the military commissaries.
Our military… is not set up as a capitalist democracy. A government system that takes over business? Communism. Google it.
It’s a partnership. Capitalism hasn’t been working, have you noticed ‘grocery’ stores are now Dollar stores with a processed food aisle? I bet you have a grocery store with real food within a reasonable distance.
‘Gummint bad’ is a big part of how we got right where we are today. Reject their ideological perspective.
Actually not… against our Constitutional government. Or Capitalism, with a heart. But Trump, is working through Socialism for the rich… Communism for himself and straight on into Dictatorship. That. Ideological perspective? Not Constitutional. And. No. Not interested.
Communism always works never.
So Zorhan Mamdani is not all wet behind the ears I guess!
Better late than never. I grew up in Atlanta and we would regularly go to the State farmers market. There were row after row after row a fresh produce and a restaurant on site which served fresh food.
Mayor Dixon’s recognizes the food deserts. Now maybe more grocery chains will step up to put business in there.
Show everyone how it’s done Atlanta!
👍
Great News!!
That's wonderful
I can’t imagine not having a real grocery store near me! It must be hard on Atlanta!
I hope it works well. RFK Jr. is spreading lies about accepted and tested science, but one of the many issues the U.S. has is the unavailability of decent food in many areas at prices that people can afford.
Communist....fuck the POtuS.
I loved buying fresh from the farmer's market downtown when I visited Atlanta a few years back.
Congratulations, Atlanta💪🏼
great, but can the poor and working class afford it?
A different link for those barred from the original one outside the United States. Those who relentlessly assured us that Capitalism Will Provide have been shown to be full of it on thus showing. atlanta.urbanize.city/post/azalea-...
Rite Aid tried the same thing years ago in Tacoma's "Hilltop" neighborhood. Bought land, put up a brand new building and quickly closed because the company was losing too much money to shoplifting.
Isn't it true that HOAs don't allow houses to have bars on windows because it looks "ugly"?
HOAs ?
Home owner association. They can regulate how your house looks like, usually in the suburbs. In other countries it's normal to have bar at windows and high walls, the richer a neighborhood is, the more its spent in security. Only in the US people think security measures means crime.
It is only under (cough) ‘communism’ that the people of Atlanta can get fresh vegetables? Didn’t see that one coming.
Americans should read "The Conquest of Bread" from 1850, freely available online. It will open your eyes.
Stop lying.
A classic argument. Backed up by solid supporting evidence. Who could fail to be persuaded?
Research the "Rite Aid" built in Tacoma's "Hilltop" years ago. Closed due to overwhelming shop lifting. You don't see metal fences over windows and doors in other parts of the city.
Thank you. This is the kind of thing I was after. I am not from the United States, though I have visited, and so have been intrigued by the sometimes strange mix of shops you find on American streets.
This is wonderful!
Good onya mates !
This is good governance
Wait 'til Mad Marge finds out! 😱
Not her district, she can die mad.
This is what real community investment looks like. More cities should follow.
People helping people. What a novel idea.🙄👍
And we know that the powers that be in red GA will do all they can to shut it down; like they just did in red Kansas; like they succeeded at doing in red FL... because some people don't deserve grocery stores, if they're older, poorer, or of course, 'those people'... can't go offering good services.
Fantastic! Let the people EAT healthy food!
It's a good thing The View is on hiatus because the Trumper would need a fainting couch. SOCIALISM!
Good grief, just make an Aldis open there in exchange for all of their other stores.
But if suggested by Momdani he's a 'Commie!"
We need more solutions like this. Getting fresh food to people improves health.
About time!
Oh, we can’t have that. Better than ICE and the National Guard to shut that shit down. MAGA is the reason we can’t have nice things anymore.
How are you going to have fresh fruit and veggies when Trump is detaining immigrants and farmers are struggling
We have state workers' compensation funds, state and local transit agencies, state windstorm insurance pools. I don't know why this is so controversial. Serving something private companies say they can't provide.
Many of them multi billion dollar companies, companies that created these situations in the first place.
I bet it's not controversial in Atlanta.
Bet they close down in a year from shoplifting costs.
Don’t believe all the lies megacorporations try to sell you. theweek.com/crime/102003...
Having worked at an urban grocery, yeah theft is a problem. No it's not reported. Even with bathroom codes people would shoot up in the bathrooms. But we didn't lock stuff up. We always were on the floor asking "can I help you". Adequate staffing is what's needed.
Sure it can be a problem. But it’s hardly the business-destroying epidemic that the big national retailers wanted you to think it was.
#GoodThings
Hell yes. Hope we see these pop up in more and more places.
Awesome news!
Don’t tell Washington.
Thank you @benpalmertrolls.bsky.social for this wonderful program
Those MAGA who foam at the mouth about all those lefty socialists and communists will think this and having a stake in a private company like Intel isn’t socialism. The same group that likes to call liberals pedophiles, but hope the Epstein files stay closed.
Our only hope is in each other - the good and decent majority who believe in honor and lending a hand where it’s needed.
Great idea!!!!
Awesome
@zohrankmamdani.bsky.social
Wait what!? State owned grocery stores? This is communism, right? Maybe it's just communism if it's done in NY by a brown politician. Someone please clarify 😅😅😅
What do they call them at military bases--comissarries?
Yes!
I like that. Why ask permission?
More 👏 of 👏 this 👏
Is this the same thing #ZohranMamdani wants to do in New York?
and they say it can't be done.
And there will be a military and ICE presence sent by Trump to 'monitor public safety' in 3...2...1.
Hey
with Trump calling Atlanta's mayor "Low IQ" which he always seem to slap that label on people who look a certain way.
It will fail. Governments are terrible at this sort of thing.
Trump is likely to call the NG over this. Groceries is a sacred word to him.
This is Atlanta, right? Isn't this exactly what Zohran Mamdani is promoting in his policies that GOP is saying is Socialist/Communist/...ist? Seems like an outstanding idea for citizens.
Good. I hope it succeeds.
Ooh, I love it! Keep us updated!
I don't like the public-private partnership of it, that means it'll still be profit driven instead of a public service, but progress is progress.
This is great for the people of Atlanta but raises the question of why capitalism hasn't solved this problem. Or perhaps capitalism isn't equipped to handle problems like these. Incentives make a difference.
Capitalism doesn't solve problems
Socialism....keeping people alive and healthy since...forever.
you can have all of georgia, but theodosia she's mine
As a Georgian, it's really just the city of Atlanta and maybe a few surrounding suburbs. And even the its just in comparison to a state like Florida (plenty of places are WAY more progressive in governance). What we're doing especially well with is new density near transit/multi-use paths.
It’s not all hugs and puppies here yet. Our governor thinks the best option for a senator is not even the kooky but experienced MAGA lawmakers. No, it’s his buddy with a famous last name who could not win football games.
Good move
I sure hope they'll participate in the SNAP and WIC progams.

Good idea 👍🏼

Good news stories amid a cacophony of bleak and bluster. Thankfully.
I hope it survives
If it works in Atlanta, it can work on NYC. Isn't this a solution to federal cuts to SNAP?
I'll give it 6 months.
Yeah, the concept seems good and all but this has already been tried and failed. Sun Fresh Market in Kansas City was created for the same reason and the neighborhood shoplifted that store until it was empty.
Let's just hope they sell more fresh vegetables then hot dogs, potato chips and soda pop.
That's cool. Are they still building cop city against the will of the people?
That's been so necessary for so long. I've lived in some of those neighborhoods (before gentrification) & I was extremely lucky to have a car to fetch groceries with. I'm really glad to hear this!
That's awesome! Hope it goes well!
Wonderful news. ❤️
Bravo! We need this here in DC in Wards 7 and 8.
But but but zohran is scary socialist right?
This was my first thought!
That's wonderful! I hope to see more states and communities following this example 🙏
Wonderful news!
I thought the idea of a socialism store was abhorrent- in NYC. But in a red state it’s fine?
What are the Vegas odds it goes belly up within 2 years? I was in this career field and unless taxpayer end up subsidizing this 100% it's doomed to fail. The suburbs will feed the downtown, it's simply another form of wealth transfer by politicians.
All conservatives should stay away or risk becoming....A COMMUNIST. BUM BUM BUUUUMMM
BASED
Fantastic! Same thing that Mamdami wants to do in NYC! 👏
Except that this place and the ones planned for NYC may work out as well as those in KC. What would the effect of city owned food stores have on the mom & pop bodegas?
Or every grocery store on every military base
No wonder you're the Queen. You know that's right! theweek.com/politics/mam...
Mamdani is the only hope I have for the Democratic Party and they aren’t backing him. We need more DSA and less strongly worded letters. Primary 2026 !
Yet, in my city in the suburbs we have at least 9 grocery stores (with three more coming soon.) Not counting targets or Walmarts and little mom and pop shops. 🙈 I hope this works. I worry about the businesses traveling to these stores to buy them out then they take back to their stores to upsell.
More of this! 🥰👌
more please!
Good
The 'Mamdani effect' just dropped!
holy shit are we experiencing the trappings of a developed nation with actual urban planning for a moment here
Solve shrinkage issues in stores and retailers will return
Ooh! How dare you mention theft in urban high crime neighborhoods! It's almost as though businesses don't want to operate in dangerous parts of cities.
Red States lose just as many retailers in rural areas due to theft because of poverty
Good idea.
NICE
necessary spending for a red state, commie marxist socialism lazy poors for a blue state
📌
So Mamdani won't be the first to do it. AMAZING! All the crap they've thrown at the man is beyond belief.
OMG. COMMUNISM MOST FOUL!!!!!!!!!
Do you even know what Communism is? Obviously not!
Sarcasm really is lost on some folks.
You obviously don't have a doctorate in sarcasm.
My apologies. I am not good with sarcasm on social media.
MAGAs are against poor people eating. Disgusting. Only they would think eating is a communist plot.
#rotate
👏👏👏
So Zohran Mamdani wasn’t that crazy, right?
I hope it works. I have concerns. I worked at Macy’s on Peachtree and saw the complexity of a city firsthand.
This is precisely what Mamdani in NYC was talking about. And this is precisely why MAGAts hate him so much. Their foundation is racism. Mamdani is addressing systemic racism and they hate him for it.
Centrist Democrats such as Booker, Schumer and Jeffries hate Mamdani too. They're deadbeats. Primary them ASAP.
The Dem establishment already sidelined even David Hogg, too. Dems are not our saviors and are in league with the end of the republic.
They are operating against our interests. We must run principled men and women who'll work on our behalf rather than their wealthiest donors. Primary every single one of the deadbeats.
I'd disagree about Hogg. People felt he should not BOTH run an org to primary incumbents (Leaders We Deserve), AND an org (DNC) that shouldn't play favorites with Dems. (The DNC should stay hands off until after primary.) It's fine with him doing either one, just not both at the same time.
Democrats undermine the parties nominees after they win the primary or party endorsement. See Mamdani, see Fateh. Both Schumer and Jeffries are formally members of the DNC and are not endorsing Mamdani. The party revoked the endorsement of Fateh. These people are neutral, they are working against
left, even at the general election stage. They would rather fascists win than the left.
Some of them are. Unlike Repubs, Dems have always had trouble shutting up & staying in line (Will Rogers said "I'm not a member of any organized party, I'm a Democrat.) So what's your answer? Get rid of the party? That's suicide. /1
Stop pretending the party removing Hogg was anything but what it was. Another centrist power play. And stop pretending the party is neutral. It’s not it exists to destroy the left not fight fascists.
Yes, it's a center-right party (the Repubs are extreme right). But neither Greens nor SWP have shown much ability to get elected. What else we got?
What typically happens when a party does not represent a viable constituency it falls and gets replaced, usually rapidly by something more responsive. I mean these guys lost to Trump badly and won’t even change course on much of anything.
Incumbents in Democrats are useless
Maybe you hate people like Elizabeth Warren and AOC, but I don't.
There are about 250 Democrats in congress Math isn't your strong suit
Those are 2. Not sure what your point is. ofc we need more better ones. But tossing incumbents just means they'll all be newbies (will your newbies be better? what does *your* math say?) and not know the ropes. Moving more power to unelected (long-term) bureaucrats. (See Britcom "Yes, Minister")
My point is that embedded incumbents in the party have driven the party further and further to the right while preventing it from going back to the left. They do this because they want doner largess AKA limos, corporate jet rides, fancy brunch buffets, etc. more than they want things for the people
But you can bet a whole paycheck that if something like this came to Their City, they'd be all over spending money there. F*cking Hypocrites.
Unfortunately the article seems to be unavailable outside the USA. However, it is a marvelous idea. It will be interesting to hear of its success & future growth - and of "chains" realizing the errors of their absence. All The Best 🏆👍😀
Brilliant. I hope the partnership succeeds and is a successful model for all the other US food deserts.
This is a good trend to see across the nation.
Good luck. It’s been tried at least twice here, and each time they closed after a few months. Something about “insufficient profits” and whatnot.
Great idea!
If you live in one of these districts, PLEASE go vote in the special election ~ Virginia's 11th ~ September 9, 2025 Arizona's 7th ~ September 23, 2025 Texas' 18th ~ November 4, 2025 Tennessee's 7th ~ December 2, 2025
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💚💚💚
❤️😁
Good for them. It should make Mandami's idea look less surprising, too. We need something to happen in Denver where there are only two large market chains. Food is crazy expensive here because of that.
Baltimore? Next.
Sorry, a state run grocery store sounds like communism, now if you’ll excuse me I need to stake a 10% position in a multinational chip designer.
Like state run liquor stores?
Also have to stop off at the PX on post.
Bro stopped at the state run grocery store and didn’t even ask if I wanted a white monster… 😢
Did you not hear it’s socialism if dems do it. The Magat Scum have rebranded it as State Capitalism. We live in an absurdity
"State Capitalism" ... led by a guy who bankrupted multiple businesses, including casinos. Yeah, of course they like it.
Xactly
Entirely state owned is how you truly benefit the people, ppp’s tends to protect the interests of the private bit of the partnership. At least it means a store I guess.
May as well since rfkjr lifts all fda precautions and seems way too much listeria and salmonella gets by them anyway. Just ask to not bring pesticide treated foods. Rather have a little bug that can be seen and removed than organ killing sprays.
Please become a model for other cities
I don't see why this is so controversial. Many states own and operate their liquor stores. What's the difference here, besides promoting a public good that's actually...good?
😯
Will it last as long as the one in Kansas City?
When New England makes an EU like economic union? ATL and Huston and maaaybe Huntsville should all join.
But wasn’t that communism when it was suggested for New York City?
This was one of the shocking things I learned while staying in Nashville downtown area. There was no decent grocery store in 2 miles. Planned a mostly car free vacation and had to walk two miles to find some fresh fruits. Is there another reason than abject racism of corporations?
Sadly the case in a lot of places. I USED to have a nice little local grocery store about a five minute walk from my house. Sadly it close some time back, the building sat empty, and has since been demolished and has been a vacant lot ever since, and thanks to NIMBY types might never have anything
Many companies and businesses choose not to operate in high crime areas. You really think a corporation would choose racism over profit? Sheesh.
Awesome!!!
More of this, please.
So why is it not socialism when it’s done in Atlanta but is when suggested for NYC?
Hope they don’t have ice cream….MAGA will get very upset any SNAP funds being spent on such a luxury….oh, God, and certainly no potato chips….GASP..!
God forbid Zohran do the same….
I like this SO much better than cop city.
I hope prices can be reasonable enough to make it work!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Uh oh. The redneck GQPs ain’t gonna like this. Margarine Turnip Greens is probably losing her mind right now.
Thank you Atlanta!!
Isn’t this what Mandani wants to do in NYC….
This makes me so happy and fills me with a bit of dread. Part of our taxes should be committed to feeding people. With how much food we produce, it’s criminal how much food we just throw away. We have enough to feed everyone. I hope this catches on here in California. 🤞🙏
I just get nervous when I see this kind of stuff because the oligarchs directing the government have historically been very much against feeding people. Think the Black Panthers, Nipsey Hussle, etc. If they can’t shut you down they’ll just take you out.
The thing a lot of you don't understand: Atlanta is a blue oasis in a desert of red fuckery.
Listening to the radio the other day I heard that the city is going to spend a million dollars more than that on the dog park rescue. I'm just pointing out the irony.
Very cool! Also they could build at least 30 of these with what was spent on Cop City.
I see your photo shows a fabulous fresh produce section. Walmart has a fabulous fresh produce section, too. But people still *choose* to buy Cheetos, Doritos and Fritos. Instead of spending millions on a grocery store which duplicates every other grocery store; why not just expand bus service?
It's literally located at the public transport hub for the city. Which also happens to be a food desert.
But they’re also building a police city or whatever it is.
One store, in the tourist district, at triple the cost to shoppers.
"Inventory shrinkage in low-income neighborhoods is often higher than in affluent areas" ~ Google AI If grocery chains won't locate in a low-income neighborhood, then government should lend a hand.
I thought the free market always worked..... ?
Are the MAGAt scum screeching Socialism as they cheer dear leader’s seizure of Intel?
They're probably claiming he saved Intel and are yelling "go woke go broke"
But I’ve been told this is not possible/ could never happen/ defies the very laws of physics/ is only a made up idea to fool gullible NYC leftists
Excellent, except the cost of produce is soon going to skyrocket!
Buy in-season for your locale and buy from local farms.
Uhhh, yeah but there is not a growing/harvesting season where I live.
You don't live on planet Earth?
💪👏👏
SOCIALISM !! DEMOCRATS GONE WILD !! EMPATHY !! STOP THE MADNESS !! NATIONAL GUARD !!
Heinen's converted an old bank building & opened a full service grocery store in downtown Cleveland. It's really useful to people who live & work there. It's heavily utilized.
I love seeing historical buildings reused like this, and that communal space in middle, mmmf, we need more of that.
How about abandoned malls? So many out there!
I know one not too far form me is being partly redeveloped, there was another that closed years ago sadly it was demolished, so much cool 90s stuff lost. Luckily most of the other malls I visit are usually busy, but yeah, would be cool to repurpose the abandoned ones too.
What a cool looking space!
It is. The building was completed in 1908. It obviously still has a lot of lovely features.
Huh. I'm trying to think of a similar place in Cincinnati and all I can think of is the old Tellers in Hyde Park that's closed now, also in a former bank location with a "vault room" for parties. We definitely have food deserts here though, and this is the home of the Kroger Corporation!
Kroger sucks the blood of the people!
Aye, and profiteering during a pandemic, Kroger is thy name...
I am currently living in an area where Kroger has actual competition and I am absolutely baffled how they stay in business here.
That was the motive behind the proposed merger with Albertson's - eliminate all the competition.
It's weird, Albertson's was the expensive place anywhere I went which had both (and Safeway after the merger). It was Walmart that was anchoring most prices, then Kroger. My perception of that proposal at the time was that it would be unleashing the worst tendencies of Albertson's.
I was out of the US for a long time, so I missed Kroger going batshit crazy.
They just don’t make em like they used to. Everything’s so plain now.
Heinen’s -there’s a great childhood memory from the Cleveland burbs (too expensive for my family, but the source of treats for special occasions).
I love Heinen’s, and this area sorely needed a grocery store to support the growing residential population, but I wouldn’t exactly call it a food desert here. A food desert is what happens when they close the Collinwood Dave’s.
WOW!
A red state did that?🧐 Wow! Community gardens work too! Someone just told me they weren’t allowed plants on their patio at their apartment.
Cool...but too expensive for most residents and there's still many food deserts in Cleveland.
I hope it goes well; we've been waiting for a city government to get the courage and will to do something like this for ages.
You Americans are fucked. Nobody will help you bunch of corporate sell outs.
They fail because those in food deserts have access to food banks. Why shop at a grocery store when you can get food free? Ours has not broken even after 4 years. Other one closed.
And the added expense of operating in a high crime area. More losses due to shoplifting, more costs related to security and having metal bars installed over doors and windows.
It’s about time!
That’s excellent
How dare thee promote the general welfare, & ensure domestic tranquility… (more please)
This is fantastic but how long until the rabid dogs come pull people off the street and throw him into unmarked cars because they're shopping in a store
of the people for the people by the people isn't Atlanta one of the stupid racist red states that voted for murikka's version of fucknut hitler?
Atlanta is a big city, and like all big cities its blue. Georgia as a state is red in the most recent US election, but was blue in the prior, could consider them purple perhaps.
Georgia, not so much Atlanta, voted for that POS. Greetings from a blue dot!
So cool. Good luck. Thus could be a pilot program for other states.
Walmart and one grocery store are in our small town. There used to be four grocery stores here, in the city center. Walmart is built on the outskirts of town, so the walking poor have to use convenience stores located in town. This is rural red America now. High prices, nothing fresh
Hey
Are we from the same hometown, or does this seem like a "feature not a bug" sort of thing
Rural Alabama here, but I have lived in other red states, it's the same in all of them.
Im from northern NY, really any rural place is the same.
Eeyup. I'm in a low income town in MI, and it's the same. No car now so my options for food are to either walk 90 minutes to the nearest small grocery store, that has prices 1.5 times higher than anyone else, or instacart Aldi for about double the cost of going in person. It's shit all around.
💔 we,the poor, have joined all the other disenfranchised
This is the news I’m here for!
So want this to work for them. I’m in CA, no hope that Tulare County will try this. Weird out here, food desert in the middle of a big Ag county.

This is the way!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️✊️✊️✊️
We need more of this! Food inequality in this country is real.
Awww. You're adorable. When I shop at Walmart, I take advantage of their huge selection of reasonably priced fresh produce. Other folks take advantage of their huge selection of reasonably priced Cheetos, Doritos and Fritos.
If you were a business owner, would you willingly choose to open a location in a high crime area?
People having access to food is a good thing. Trump will rant & rave against this. And blame Communists
He'll rant about the prices being higher when that's largely his regime's fault.
Respectfully, the term "food desert" implies that the absence of a market and/or fresh produce in an area is a natural phenomenon. It's not. It's about corporate decisions. (I've seen the alternative term "food apartheid." Not sure that's the best answer, either....)
But I, as a foreigner, understand quite well the idea I think that what really matters is the communication being effective... And I do agree with you about corporate and capitalist decisions that take place and create these situations
Desertification can happen via man made causes, such as overuse of water sources, excessive plant removals or just draining the soil of nutrients, as happened with the Dust Bowl, so I think it still fits
You’re probably one of those people insisting on using “unhoused” instead of “homeless” because you think it makes you less of a moron
Which part of that was respectful?
Food desert is a ln established term in sociology and urban planning, dating back 25 years in common usage but coined over 40 years ago. Gotta update your lexicon once in a while
Food dessert works just fine. We all know what it means.
Years ago, Rite Aid invested in Tacoma's "Hilltop" neighborhood. Land was purchased, a store was built & opened. There was a refrigerated section with milk, eggs, butter, cheese & meat. A small produce section offered fresh fruit & vegetables. Overwhelming shoplifting & the location was closed.
How about "corporate misnathropy"
Can you not
I have never, for one minute, thought the term ‘food desert’ refers to a natural phenomenon.
It implies no such thing.
Man-made desertification is a thing too, so I think the metaphor is apt.
This is why we lose normies
Interesting- TO ME it means an area that has been screwed over by shit elite$, leaving a bunch of citizens screwed over by markets rigged to fuck them over. TO ME - It is a deliberate desert. Sadly, the public sector diddlefucks who accept too much of the market rigging enable the rigging.
Rather pedantic
This location is near 5 points, which will serve the community that you might not see. The closest grocery store is about 2 miles away, but if you don't have transportation, you are stuck as to where you can buy fresh food. Food prices are high every thank to Felon47
I'd love to see that happen in downtown Albany. But instead, Kathy Hochul will funnel $100M to consultants who will donate to her campaign.
