I know S Korea and other Asian countries put a tariff line on the bill. They were doing that long before donOld decided to tank our economy.

Yes, just like we do with states' sales taxes. I wanted to buy a saucepan at a store and was shocked at the price, so I asked the salesperson if it was tariffed. She nodded but quickly came up with another talking point right out of a corporate manual. Didn't buy it. I am not paying the tariff tax.

I've been working retail for 30+ years. Rarely to never have corporate sent down talking points avoid. I've never been told not to say merry Christmas either. Instead of assuming that employees are under the thumb, maybe consider that they don't have the time to discuss politics with you.
