It’s absurd to fail to recognize that sexual assault is an extremely gendered phenomenon of which men are by far and away the perpetrators. This is not a “men and women are equally bad” situation. This is pervasive violence done by men towards women (and also other men).
I'm so tired. And that these rape apologists won't just scroll by & leave women alone is even more depressing. I'm starting to think it isn't simply an investment in upholding rape culture but a kink for exhausting women about the dangers they pose to us.
