I have 16 on hold currently. Only 2 am I first in line for tho. One I’m 50th! And I’m like @fladdle.bsky.social in that my library is a tiny hub so they tend to take weeks/months to arrive even when I’m first and then they all arrive at once. I’d have more on hold if they let me 😂
I blame sitting there reading book reviews.
On that issue, I’ve spoken to staff about the number of holds we’re permitted, and each time they say, “Just ring us and we’ll put an item on hold for you.” It might be the same for you…
We are only actually allowed 15 but I snuck the 16th in this way 😂😂
