Wait. How are you progressing with Peter Hamilton's Sunday-afternoon-write-up?

I'm halfway thru book 2 right now, I love it so much. Maybe my own bias, but I find it strange more people don't talk about his works.

Is it too hardcore? People seem to prefer softcore fairytale p0rn (hence... fourth wing dragon saga's)?

That could be it. It is pretty hardcore sci-fi, not an easy level of reading. But idk. I thought the void trilogy from him was much more intense, also great

I read the books leading up to it (i think?), Judas Unchained and Pandora's Star, but not the Void trilogy itself. Worth it?

I think so yes. Faster than those previous two, and lots of characters transfer. Probably his "weirdest" series.

I immediately thought of buying them right away (thank you intrusive thoughts) and rereading the others first... And then I remembered I just bought 8 more books .
