For the sake of argument I'll accept the "Cops are THE ENEMY" part of that. Is making their jobs harder worth other people's lives? Is it worth the political fallout when someone inevitably dies from it?

I am pretty sure the cops are responsible for more deaths in any given month than randos fucking with signal jammers have been, like, ever. I'm not advocating anything in particular here. I'm saying that pre-conceding technology to the enemy is bad, regardless of what's legal.
Well, if you want to play *that* game, they already have the technological advantage, and it puts the user at far more risk than it protects. But sure, whatever, go do what you want. Don't be surprised when they find you. Because that's the other part about them - they're very, very easy to find.
I mean, hopefully some enterprising anarchist invents better drone-killing tech, because jammers have many problems and obviously, wrt where this thread started, eagles are both difficult & don't scale! But we absolutely need civilian drone-killing tech & civilian anti-surveillance tech in general!
I.. I mean. Again, this is.. not an escalation that the civilians will win. Like.. there *aren't* really options, and the funding and production differences really don't make it very possible - if civilian "deterrents" become a threat, there will be more research done to defeat them.
okay, so what's your solution? give up and let cops and governments terrorize people forever?
No? Just.. don't fight them on a front you can't win on? Focus efforts on eroding support and the future, not on direct action with a significantly more powerful force
I support a diversity of tactics!
