and the Vito stuff is very, very sad.
and the Vito stuff is very, very sad.
the Vito stuff probably would have hit harder if it didn't come after Ade and you didn't already know how doomed everyone's soul truly was
Right, once you’re like “oh they killed an angel” it doesn’t hit the way it should, but I am glad they spent most of the last season dealing with Tony coming to terms with the fact he isn’t homophobic, which, lets be honest, is pretty funny.
Tony always being like “honestly who cares and why should I even have to do anything about this?” and the old guys having no response beyond “yeah but gay” and it ends up being the NY Fam who does it and does it in a way that’s grotesque and upsetting? That’s so good. Tony would’ve never done it.
he never would have, he knows how fucked his conscience really is for his line of work
Nope, he wouldn’t. he was ready to let him go and live in AC, sending a few grand a month, but that’s why Phil is such a good end boss for the show, Phil is, how do I say this without getting in trouble? He’s the kind of guy my uncles and I would’ve taken care of before it got that far.
i told a friend who grew up in california that i loved sopranos for a lot of reasons but one of which is i knew all those guys growing up between half the town being italian and 75% of it being catholic
yeah I mean my fam and I didn’t start watching until the bear episode and then I was like “dad… come on man” and it wasn’t until he say Attorney Melvoin where he went “that’s uncle Frank” and I said “seeeeee?!!”
