Relying on a log-jam for flood control makes sense only so long as water does not continue to rise and the presumption that it will recede in some finite period of time. When the logjam breaks, the logs become projectiles downstream.

Stop analogizing yourself into a frame that is fantasy. With a minority, there are limitations. You want Schumer unleashed? Jeffries unleashed? Give them majorities. Everything else is you lying to yourself about fairy dust. I'm not entertaining this line further. It's dumb and it wastes my time.

I hope we all continue to enjoy that privilege. I remember expressing opinion very in line with your own back in 2016 or so, before we went so far off the rails. I failed to observe that the trajectory was set decades earlier. Not only was this planned, it was aided & abetted. Thanks, though.
