On a podcast with Jamie Reed, Sarah Mittermaier (aka Eliza Mondegreen) claims Dutch researcher Anna van der Miesen is withholding from publication a report stating 30 of the original 70 kids from the Dutch Protocol cohort were identified as Autistic and 2 of those 30 have since died by suicide.
This has to be false?
I've found no corroborating evidence this is true. I wouldn't be surprised if she's just making shit up. But this is how the Anti-Trans game of telephone works. One of their lead researchers pulls it out of their ass on Monday and by Friday someone is citing it at as evidence in a legal hearing.

imo also irrelevant if true..given autism itself is a spectrum. no evidence being such means those w/ autism who are also trans are somehow more likely to later regret. so even if autistic, all that shows is even MORE reason this care needs individualized, not one-size-fits-all based on political BS
This is problematic for the autistic community too, given the higher incidence among us of trans and NB identities. As with so many things, we don't want to be swept into whatever weird conspiracy doom people cook up--it only hurts us in the end.
