Leaving Labour is good. Setting up *another* new Left party is... well, let's say I'm not 100% on it when the Greens are right there with a pivot to unabashed ecosocialism ready to roll if Polanski takes the leadership next month. Good luck though.

I don't think Polanski will win over Ellie Chowns/Ramsey. She's less angry sounding and presents the greens message much better than Polanski
She's a neo-liberal career politician, and Ramsey is a transphobe.
She's a NGO worker in sub Saharan Africa, she has undertaken to give 10% of her salary to charity and an MEP. You don't want someone like that for the leadership? Really not a career politician. How odd
This is a time that warrants anger. Chowns/Ramsay represent the rural Tory Green vote which, with respect, is not what we need.
He won't win with anger. I heard him on a podcast ( can't remember which) he sounded petulant and pissed off... that's not as engaging as a reasoned debate... for me anyway
