You seem to be labouring under the misapprehension that pro wrestling fans think pro wrestling is a legitimate contest, or shoot. We are well aware that pro wrestling is not a shoot, but a work, which is to say predetermined and the purpose is not to actually beat the other guy into submission.

Within this context, we appreciate pro wrestling for what it truly is, which is simulated faux combat and story telling with everyone being in on that fact. Pro wrestling is truly at its best when the story being told is so engaging that disbelief is suspended.

And to turn things about on you, your initial comment would be like me suggesting that you think the Superman movie is a true and accurate depiction of real life events, and you are therefore really fucking stupid for believing that.
