So to sum up the Wisconsin arrest issue: ICE didn't have a juridical warrant. They only had an administrative warrant. The DOJ has not convened a grand jury to indict the judge. They only got a criminal complaint before a magistrate judge. This is ridiculous.

I do not understand how people in plain clothes with no insignia they are law enforcement can claim anyone interfered with their arrest. Surely citizens are not required to allow just anyone to harm another person. Officers need to present identification and in this case an arrest warrant

If you arrest a judge and brag about it on Twitter, you’d damn well better have your ducks in a row. Because, eventually, sooner, rather than later, you have to take your case out of the court of public opinion, and into an actual court, with… a judge. And, they won’t be patient or forgiving.

I wish this were true. The way all the cases against Trump were allowed to fall apart as soon as he won the presidency makes me doubt.
This was due to the shameful immunity ruling by scotus. That doesn't extend to the doj, etc.
Pardon power does. The real issue with trying to do this via the courts is that in the end Trump can just say "oh, it was illegal? I'm pardoning them. And anyone else who does things I tell them to do that you call illegal."
You can't pardon the government, though. When the state arrests you, it's not pam bondi doing it, even if she's the one doing it. IANAL, but I don't think you can pardon this away
We'll see. My bet is that the legal challenges are much sound and fury, signifying nothing. Trump's strategy has always been to drag out court proceedings until the results don't matter to the facts on the ground.
Again, agreed. So we can use the same strategy against him. He can pardon himself, but he can't stop his policies from ending up in court, yet. And if he does stop that through force, we truly have hit the point of needing to water the tree of liberty.
That said, nobody is going to jail for it, either. The judge will get off, the doj will have to back off or risk losing a lot more cases.

Long term, sure. But the risky part of that is that tying him up in court doesn't stop him from acting to make things worse.
One of the few things that could be done is civil contempt. Criminal contempt, he can pardon, but civil? That's not within any of his scope, or the legislative branchs'. That's stepping on toes he doesn't own with no toadies willing to suckle his. It isn't much, but any action is better than none

True, another great issue. Posse comitatus is still legal, but that could be nuclear. With civil, though, you can strip law licenses and levy fines. Don't seem like much, but penalties rack up, they owe massive amounts later on they can't just charge to the american taxpayer. Go after the cronies

Sure, they will continue to break the law, prevaricate, and delay as long as they can. The pattern of lawlessness is so pervasive and so aggressive though that I seriously doubt they ever plan on capitulating.
