He quoted and debated the old scriptures with the hypocritical leaders of his day. The historical Jesus of Nazarus was not born in Dec 25 in Bethlehem. That was made up to win over pagans to Christianity. Paul in the Bible may have been 1st, but the Bible is a collection of incomplete writings.

I agree he wasn’t born on Dec 25, neither was Zeus. Neither Zeus nor Jesus were real people.

Jesus was a real person independently verified by two ancient historians, and reverified by modern historians. But the myths and miracles surrounding him were made up to suit various religious factions over the millennia.

If Jesus was real Zeus was too. Verified by 50000 ancient Greeks.

Nope. No historian has verified the existence of a man called Zeus. You could find the information on the historical man called Jesus of Nazareth if you cared to do some research. Ancient Greece Historian Josephus mentions Jesus. But keep believing what you want to believe. You do you. Peace, out.

Honey, the first text about Jesus was Saul of Tarsus. His description of Jesus was identical to Zeus.A supernatural being who magically left the planet 75 years before Saul was alive. There is no other text of Jesus from anyone before Saul.If you find comfort in Jesus, good on you. But I’m fact based.

Sweetie pie, if you are only using the bronze age bible for determining “Saul of Tarsus is the first text about Jesus, then you are not fact-based. I don’t believe the myth that Jesus was a supernatural being and get no comfort in that myth.

You can rationalize all you want. Whatever your beliefs are, it makes zero impact on my life and doesn’t matter to me.

I spelled it. It’s Nazareth 🤔 In any case, reading Bishop John Shelby Spong many years ago opened my eyes. It all made sense afterwards whosoever.org/bishop-john-...
