They aren’t just breaking rules and laws. They ripped up the entire system of checks and balances and constitutional order and replaced it with a corrupt historical Gilded Age or old NYC style system of corruption, graft, patronage, spoils to the winner, cheating, attacking political opponents, etc.

It drives me nuts that all media report everything this president and administration says or does matter-of-factly as if the words and deeds were normal and sensible. They “both sides” acts: “He lit the house on fire and the other side says it was not wise.” The way it’s reported normalizes it.
