Still in Brittany. Went from La Roche Bernard across to Crouesty before the storm, getting a bit of west in on basis of forecast. Out of here tomorrow to Huat then bel isle anchorage. Off to A Coruna thereafter, orcas permitting. Forecast looks perfect and swell should have died
Sounds great. I made the mistake of not making west in Biscay. Bloody hard work getting out if you get embayed, no idea how the square-riggers did it. If you need weather updates in the bay I can set up my tracker for reverse messaging (I send you an SMS, you reply, I send the shipping forecast...)

No problem. I use it with a couple of friends ashore if I'm offshore and not sure about what's coming. They can't instigate a conversation via the tracker, but they can reply to my SMS. I've found it more reliable than the Garmin forecast.
