That many graded copies has shrank the number of available raw copies so badly it gives a false sense of scarcity. Meanwhile on eBay.

That is a frustrating aspect of so much getting slabbed. Some comics I’d like to actually read *gasp*! That and possibly get signed when meeting a pro at a convention. Can’t do that if it’s slabbed. Very few unslabbed copies of certain issues, unfortunately.

I’d say 95% of my slabs I have in some other form (reader copy, digital, trade) to dodge just that problem

For the most part, so do I. My ASM #121 and 122 have been reprinted many times and I can read my tpbs collecting it. Likewise my UXM #2 and 3 and some others. A few are trickier, but not impossible.
