as someone who almost died because i fell asleep at the wheel this is EVEN MORE dangerous than driving tired (which is VERY dangerous and you should take it very seriously)

a friend of mine almost died driving tired. he had to work a double shift and got off work around 4am and drove home and fell asleep behind the wheel. he woke up to his car stuck on top of the guard rail overhanging a pretty far drop down a rocky cliff. he might have survived the fall but might not

I ever tell y'all about the time a grieving father came to a freshman poli-sci class I took, and spoke about how difficult it was to get a NO TEXTING U SELFISH HUBRIS MACHINES on the books in FL, partly bc of pushback from cops (I guess the dashboard laptops aren't enough) #BecauseAnthony
