The extent to which it's iffy is you're doing a construction paper torn border with lined paper But I don't know if ditching the lines would help or hinder, since then it's just a white boring space probably Not making the Torn In A Way That Implies Thick Paper bit so wide would probs make it fine

it's actually a scan of an actual piece of lined paper, I think if I made it a bit more translucent around the torn bits it might be a bit less uncanny

Ah yep, that would help, though it's even odds whether it'll look good or bad cus translucent things tend to never feel quite right Still, easy enough to try

I did try it and it did not look good, I think I just need to tear another page such that it doesn't have such a wide ragged fringe
