Being forced onto some b.s. 'weight management' thing via work health insurance. My rage knows no bounds. Am currently watching videos about things I already know because it's mandatory.

What the hell???
That's exactly what I want to know, Jodie!
Is it required???
Yep. Intrusive b.s.
Growling on your behalf.
Sheesh. I'm unhealthy now and gained weight but I was 10 times more unhealthier when I was "skinny" in my 20s and 30s. They should do a weight management course on how to speed up your metabolism after 40 🤣🤣
They should let you duke it out...like they want you to do some weight management thing they have to best you in a fist fight. I've been "thin" and I've been healthy and these are two different things. Bring it when I'm big and bitchy let's play.
I am IN for this solution. They're lucky I'm in my chronic pain/disabled time of life, but I'm pretty sure that my rage will carry me.
The first time we take em out in the parking lot and whoop they ass they'll calm down! lmao
Ah! I am outraged on your behalf!!! 🤬
Thank you. This is ridiculous.
When I have to do dumb shit like this, I run the video on one screen with no sound, take the tests when they come up, and get on with useful work in the meantime.
That's... that's how I do all mandatory training at work. Shh, don't tell.
Around the time I was born my parents got into health food. By the time I was 8 they opened a health food store. My mom, blessed with ADHD before it was cool, fixated on nutrition as her Special Topic for about 20 years.
Now I'm watching a video on reading nutrition labels.
Good grief
It is as elementary and step-by-step as one could make the reading of a nutrition label. Apparently they think I'm in middle school.
Ugh
My poor husband is being subjected to the audio portions of the 'training' and he thinks they need a pre-test to see what our knowledge already is, and that would have been great. Pretty sure I could have tested out of this whole thing.
If they’d tested you in advance, maybe they’d get a clue. “Hey, she knows this. Maybe it’s not the answer.”
Oh fuck that noise. Tying healthcare to employment & then insisting on unrealistic, utterly bullshit "body standards" is the policy of ghouls who would be happy if people die.
