They are actively applying for creative and visual roles with my stolen work and a comically inflated job title of Operations Head of my company. I don’t think this person should get away with this, period. I am waiting for formal papers to be sent, and working through my feelings on the matter.

I struggle to air my drama online, privacy is important to me. This case is a violation of the many years of hard work i have done professionally, my name, and is a personal violation as they let people believe for years we were dating. This is also untrue and demeaning.

The scope of their behavior had become known after they were let go. This was after months of trying to work through performance and behavioral issues. I confronted them and told them to never contact me or use my name again, and that I saw who they are. This blatant theft is how they responded.
I have experience with this. Be careful. People like this, basically sociopathic, are dangerous and have a way of coming out on top. It seems slam dunk but be meticulous and vigilant throughout. Wishing you luck.
If you see me alone at events for the rest of the year, this is a huge factor in that decision. My trust was already shaken, betrayal of this scale is hard to overcome and process.

This is so rough… I am sorry you have to deal with this.
There is a lot i think and feel about all of this, anger obviously being a big part of it. After formal action has been taken i am considering publicly exposing this person. Some men are so disgustingly entitled and possess such delusional ideas of grandiosity and audacity it is astounding.
It would be so satisfying to see this resolved like the court scene in "Big Eyes."

You have every right to feel outrage and all the negative emotions. Let it out and scream if you have to but do these in private. Don't give this person an opportunity to use your words against you. In an emotional crisis, it's hard to be rational. Let the cooler heads eg. lawyer lead you. Goodluck!
Follow the advice of your attorney. DO NOT ACT OUT. Assume that every word you say to anyone other than your attorney will come back to you. Litigation can be brutal. Your assistant stole from you. That’s horrible. A civil wrongful & possibly a criminal wrong. This is what attorneys are for.
