I have a friend who nearly killed her husband with COVID, because she decided it was safe to go to the gym without a mask. He was in the ICU for weeks, then a regular floor for weeks, then had to go to rehab for weeks. Once he eventually recovered they went right back to shopping and restaurants.
I am immunosuppressed due to my autoimmune disease. This is literally my nightmare. Thank god my doc loaded me up with vaccines just in case. I had Covid once because I did not get a vaccine. I let it lapse. It was a 5 day hell as it hits me hard. But thank god I did not have to go to a hospital.
