we're trying not to rush him into using it because he has a such huge fear of machine noises. he even hates the dishwasher. the litter robot is great but does make an audible noise when it runs, which he Does Not Like (he is watching it in this picture)

my former stray is like this too! anytime she hears a particularly noisy vehicle outside (truck, street sweeper) she gets pissed and stances up by the window to look at it and swishes her tail 😭 it’s very cute but also a bummer if you think too hard abt them being on the street

Yeah, Max had an exceptionally dramatic reaction to it. We ran it once, and then started it again another time with the same result, and gave up. When we moved to our house he was ok with the one here, so it was just the frequency he picked up with that other one.
