Because Bev. Because most cases the evidence presented by cw would have been tossed during evidentiary hearings. Because Bevs grave concerns only applied to the defense.

Curious if she’s consistently like this - I know Lawyer You Know says some judges just are “known” in their districts to be more in favor of the state or even handed or in favor of the defendant in as much as they are leery of doing anything that would appear biased on appeal.

She was on the public council services staff as a public defense for ages before being a judge. Her brother got Chris Albert a sweetheart deal on a potential Dwi homicide hit and run.
