If you click through to the article behind the article on salary differentials, it goes to a survey from 2021 (philosophy grads) and lists the non-academic fields in order of frequency as:

"Education, technology, law, health, consultancy, government, university administration, finance, nonuniversity education, and nonprofits/NGOs" That list looks very different in 2025 than it did in 2021. Things have gone from bad to catastrophic, and "just leave academia" isn't sufficient advice.
