But now other Republican states are lining up as well. New York’s governor, again, is putting it on the 2026 ballot so far… it’s not going to be good enough. Whatever seats we can gain in California will be outweighed by Texas, Florida, Ohio, Missouri, and Indiana…

Governor Kathy Hochul: "I'm exploring with our leaders every option to redraw our State congressional lines as soon as possible.” She's not putting it on the 2026 ballot

My home state of Arizona has a Democratic governor and two Democratic senators. With Democratic voting potential like that, at least 1 to 2 house seats could be flipped. But Katie Hobbs is one of the most non-confrontational politicians I’ve ever seen…

But again, there’s a plethora of other states that can. I’m not really counting on New York. Other governors need to step up. It can’t just be Newsome and Hochul. Josh Shapiro in Pennsylvania said he’s not going to do anything… that’s not good.

Right now, she would have to disband the regulation committee that controls redistricting. Which is an option and she needs to execute on that. That however, would require an amendment to the state Constitution. From a legal perspective she really won’t even have a chance to redistrict until 2027.
