Tennessee’s not much better. We’ve got some folks with momentum behind them (Jones, Johnson) but the party machine has been asleep at the wheel for as long as I can remember.

the history of this state is a bunch of anglos co-opting a wider mexican anti-tyranny movement to slaver and settler-colonial ends, and then backstabbing the tejano genuine revolutionaries with second-class citizenship. and even worse to black people, of course.
