Funniest thing about losing a lot of weight in a short amount of time (in my case like 70lbs yikes) is that people will often openly insult the way you used to look lol

And being a 155 lbs my whole adult life earns me no compliments . I gotta get fat
And even worse is when you stabilize your weight, gain back 10 lbs, and start getting "oh thank God you looked like you were dying." TELL ME I LOOK LIKE A ZOMBIE WHEN I LOOK LIKE A ZOMBIE
My best friend did. Everyone else has been praising me for losing so much weight but he was the first to notice and what he noticed my sunken skeleton eyes
That's a good friend
ITS SO BAD
Im sorry. You deserve better. Congratulations on your weight loss. May you find better people to have in your life.
It’s good you’re laughing - it’s true
Did you have 70 pounds to lose?
If you lost 70 pounds then you used to be morbidly obese. That's not an insult, it's just a clinical observation.
an ai artist would say this huh
A close family member died from heart issues brought on by a lifetime being morbidly obese. It's not healthy.
I lost 30 lbs and yea everyone was like you look so good! And I all I could say was thanks, I've been sick
lost more than half my body weight and the conversation moved from "youre fat lmfao" to "your stomach has a lot of loose skin eh" fml
Not maliciously either they think they are being nice because “you aren’t chubby anymore” or whatever lol
People attributed my HRT face changes to losing weight a lot and I don't even know how to respond sometimes.
Thank you. I have been losing over the last year by choice, and I guess I would’ve thought that I would be happy when people complimented on how much “better I looked”. But it leaves me cold. What was I before? I never would’ve expected my reaction. I guess I need to look within
fucked up
My focus point is, "You look so healthy. How do you feel?" It's not about being large or small, it's about being in a healthy range, and that looks different for everyone. With that in mind, how do you feel? Is it a good thing or uncomfortable?
I shaved my beard by accident and looked like a turtle so i lost 50 pounds lol
