Which is probably true but also the dialogue in CoM is soooooooo "first semester at college, I have opened my eyes to the truth" coded. I rewatched it last year because I love it but was really shocked by how superficial all of Clive's takes are: "Government is bad because they lie!" type stuff.

IMO The 1978 version of “Death On the Nile” is better than the book because they get rid of a few superfluous characters and make the story feel less cluttered.
