I am kind of depressed these days. I have six friends come over with drums, harmonicas, bass guitars, and rhythm guitars. We are playing the blues. Playing the blues drives out any bad feelings.

I love that out of seven people playing and singing, there is only one straight white male, me. Two black couples, one of which is gay. A Trans base player, and a female on the drums. We always have a great time when we get together. On to Shake Your Boogie, Snooky Pryor version. Love the harp.

It's a Yamaha electric. My upright grand didn't make the move 10 years ago. I usually just leave it on piano but when I need to vent I turn up the volume and start mixing stuff. Organs with electric guitars, harpsichords with woodwinds, just general venting. 😉🎶

Now she walks in a plays Piano Sonata in A Major by Mozart. No warm up, and play. To make us all feel inferior. Yes, we all know the music by heart. You have not lived until you hear something like this with a blues harmonica added.

It’s great you & friends are jamming Blues! Husband & I just ordered a variety of new guitar picks…some for acoustic, others for electric. I did some research on YouTube 1st. I can’t wait to try them out!
