I feel like people have not realized that we are in a new era of nihilistic terrorism. It sounds like religious fundamentalism or racism or antisemitism or misogyny or xenophobia. Like this is cry for help against nihilism. Gen Z men who voted for Trump see having children as the #1 definition of success. Above even being married. Like, where are the children supposed to come from? They are just so desperate to be handed *something* they believe will give themselves meaning.
