The Harris ticket made a TON of strategic missteps including edging out leftist/progressive types to seek moderate republican votes. The inability to take a stand where it mattered made dems toothless vs Trump and this -now- is a result.

If “leftist/progressive types” didn’t vote because Harris courted moderate, republican votes, then those “types” can thank themselves for Trump’s presidency. 90 million eligible voters didn’t vote in the 2024 election. Of the 64.1% that did vote, Trump won with only a 1.5% margin of victory. 1.5%
