Narcissism seems to be very common, with them thinking that they’ll be ok because they’re better and more deserving than others for whatever reasons (white, Christian, “legal” etc.)

I wouldn't say it is narcissism, but a failure or a refusal to think and going with what they're feeling. When you never move out of the blithe childhood assumption 'I don't have to worry, Mommy and Daddy take care of me. I'm safe." Just shallow people.
