Children murdered because they went to school. Seniors shots because they went to mass. Public servants assassinated because they chose to serve. When will it be enough for us to decide that we deserve better? To acknowledge that we, quite literally, cannot live like this?
When 20 young children were murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary and nothing was done to prevent another such incident, we lost the gun control fight for at least a generation.

The Columbine shooting happened in 1999. We've had 26 years to make change. Our politicians decided our deaths weren't worth stopping.
