This is the power of peaceful protests. We matched in the pouring rain in Binghamton, NY. Everyone was friendly, respectful and enthusiastic. It was an uplifting but wet day. Yes, I was cold but my heart was warmed by seeing the big turnout.

i saw somewhere that NYC police were not expecting the crowd the got and only had 44 officers deployed to cover it. volunteers managed the crowd movement. The police were pretty psyched it was such a nice crowd. well done NYC, because we all know you guys can rumble with the best of them!

The protest here in Carson City, NV went from 12 to 3. There was a police presence but they looked bored & later reported no incidents. We went to outdoor cafe seating across the street a little before 3 and watched the crowd of 7,000 completely disperse at 3 pm leaving no trace & no litter.
