You know they don't read it. And if they do, they don't understand it or care. That's the entire problem. They will deport him Monday morning regardless as to what the courts say if they can't get before a judge this weekend.

Is this anything other than announcing that they are planning to violate court orders? Can DOJ play dumb yet again, “Golly gee whiz, I don’t know who made that decision, I don’t even know what a decision is”. They sure believe in their criminal case against him don’t they?

looks like the Md judge refrained from barring removal to a third country, because the government had not yet announced that they were doing that. It must be a technical thing because the court seems to have anticipated that ICE would try this.

I was wondering about this. Not that anything about this is following any of the guidance which judges have outlined with regard to his release.

I don't know. My personal opinions aside, I don't know what the law says in his case. If he was granted asylum or has an asylum case pending, no, I'd say they don't.
